We are based in central Montana where the country is rich in mountains, meadows, and streams. Our hunt area is located on private land in the Big Belt Mountains. We have three camps for elk hunting. The elevation in this area ranges from 5,000 feet to 7,000 feet and the temperatures can vary from 60 degrees above zero to temperatures below zero during the fall hunts.
The area is abundant with many game animals-elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, antelope, black bear, mountain lion, coyotes and blue grouse. We also offer an antelope hunt that may be taken separately or in conjunction with your elk hunt. The antelope hunt is priced separately at $1,550.00 per person or, if run in conjunction with an elk hunt, will cost an additional $800.We hunt using only 4-wheel drive vehicles. The area has many logging trails and we are able to get our hunters to all sections of our land. The hunts are accommodated based on their physical abilities. Our guides are experienced and they will try their hardest to make your hunt successful as well as enjoyable and memorable. We guide only five or six hunters per week at each of our camps unless prior arrangements are made.
Fees for all the hunts include guides, home-cooked meals, a cook, transportation to and from Great Falls, Lodging during your hunt, and field preparation of game animals. Extra expenses are your license, lodging before and after your hunt, transportation to and from Montana, additional animals taken (deer, antelope, bear, coyote), mounting costs, gratuities, as well as the processing of game animals. We offer both a professional taxidermist and meat cutter for your convenience.
All prices for 2008 and are subject to change without notice. |

ELK HUNTS
With over 65,000 acres of PRIVATE LAND to hunt, our elk have lots of room to roam. Our private leases range from grass meadows to ridges and draws of timber. Hunts are for bull elk or for brow tined bulls ONLY and that means 5 and 6 point bulls. Success rates on these quality bulls usually run in excess of 50-60% annually. All our hunts are conducted from 4x4 vehicles and walking making this a unique hunt that any hunter can do, regardless of his/her abilities or physical condition. Our elk herds are all resident animals, which means there is no waiting for the elk to migrate, heavy snow falls and cold conditions to get the animals moving from areas you cannot hunt. All elk hunts are combined with a deer (mule or whitetail) making this a great two animal hunt. Application deadline in Montana for non-resident elk/deer licenses is March 15th.

DEER HUNTS
The mule deer and whitetail populations on our PRIVATE RANCHES have bounced back very well in the last couple of years, combining that with a new ranch for deer hunting, hunters have a great opportunity to look at a large number of deer per day. Quality mule deer bucks on our ranches are all 4x4 and better and range from 22-24" with our biggest bucks in the 28-30" class. Success rates on our DEER ONLY HUNTS is over 95%, with the most hunters having a number of opportunities to harvest a quality buck. We use mainly the spot and stalk method to get close to our animals, but we also use some ground blinds for our whitetail hunts.
